I just received my first small Culebra this season, it is about 12″ tall and I’m hoping to achieve solid growth this year, and it would be nice to provide an edit to this post with some thoughts on the bloom sometime in the future (hopefully near future)…

Mine was about the same size when I bought it, Nathan and it sat and sat for the first 12 months, then whoosh, away it went and it’s been flowering for a couple of months……you will just love it….I do….

This year my Culebra produced several blooms with 6 to 9 petals, the overall look of the flower is just beautiful, with a curtain of petals in the 9 petalled one…

Ignore it Gail, it will love you for it…

Mine was a 6ins plant when I bought it and it just sat there for over a year. Then slowly it made new growth..4 yrs later it flowered..

    It’s worth the wait.

Sorry about the hazy first pic, it got quite foggy that day.

Thanks, Dianne.  After trying everything else, I will do just that.
